Nepal's April 2015 earthquake (also known as the Gorkha earthquake) killed 8,964 people and injured 21,952 others. I travel to the country with the american NGO IHS (Infinitum Humanitarian Systems), which wants to bring water purification systems to help the affected communities. We arrive in the country just in time for a second 7.3 earthquake. We are in the cremation centre of the city of Kathmandu. Just as the people were about to raise their heads, this second earthquake throws the population into general terror. Scenes of panic surround us. Many of the buildings that had been spared by the first earthquake or were unsafe are reduced to rubble.
