In September 2022, I was hired by a Ukranian NGO to travel in to Ukraine. I entered by feet from Poland and cross the whole country from Lviv to Kiev and to the front line where the Ukranian army had just recaptured territory that was under Russian control in the town of Izjum. I returned in Ukraine in November when winter began to bite. Makariv, Kiev, Odessa Mycolaiv and Cherson just liberated from the presence of the Russians from just few days. Cherson in fact was still under attack. Destruction, death, fear and cold.
